SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2025

The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of 2964 Circle Based Officers (CBO) for the financial year 2025-26. This includes 2600 regular vacancies and 364 backlog vacancies across various circles in India. The online application process commenced on 9th May 2025 and will conclude on 29th May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as of 30th April 2025. The age limit is set between 21 and 30 years as of the same date, with applicable age relaxations as per government norms.

Selection Process: The recruitment process comprises an online examination, followed by screening and an interview. Proficiency in the local language of the applied circle is mandatory, and candidates may be required to undergo a language test unless they have studied the local language in their 10th or 12th standard.

Application Fee: The application fee is ₹750 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Salary Structure: The starting basic pay is ₹48,480 in the scale of 48,480–2,000/7–62,480–2,340/2–67,160–2,680/7–85,920. In addition to the basic pay, officers are entitled to various allowances and benefits, including DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), LFC, Medical Facility, and other perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
